Ground Control’s specialist rope access teams deliver complex but non-obtrusive maintenance, repair, and access works at height for civil structures, where scaffolding or mechanical systems are unsuitable.

The teams can reach the highest or tightest structural spaces, from portals in railway bridges or tunnels built in the nineteenth century to electricity pylons.

Safe access for everyone

Ground Control works with IRATA (Industrial Rope Access Trade Association) certified experts to enable the safe delivery of works to infrastructure, in line with the ICOP (International Code of Practice).

IRATA solves maintenance challenges using industrial rope access techniques to provide a safe, working environment. These techniques are also efficient, versatile, and cost-effective, and leave a minimal footprint on the environment.
