Ground Control announces Billericay Food Bank sponsorship

Continuing a partnership to support the local food bank

Ground Control has sponsored the Billericay Food Bank to support the charity's food club, a new initiative to engage businesses and create a supply of food bank staples that people desperately need, but are not traditionally donated. Ground Control has committed fice monthly slots to ensure that basic food such as eggs, milk and potatoes remain available in the food bank stores.

The commitment from Ground Control is part of EverCare, the company's CSR objectives, which aims to support a variety of initiatives and charities to give back and demonstrate Human Nature at its best.

With the company's headquarters in Billericay, Ground Control has shown ongoing support for the foodbank as a commitment to the local area, prior to this donating over 50 bags of food and match-funding this through the EverCare fund to donate £1000.

Recently, Darren Daley, Grounds Maintenance & Client Services Director, announced the new sponsorship at the Billericay Food Bank, sharing the donation of nearly £5,000. On the back of this donation, Darren shared:

I am proud to have represented Ground Control and share our EverCare donation with the Billericay Food Bank. Our work to support local charities is incredibly important to me, and it is great to see this commitment continue.
