Diversify your land portfolio and support the recovery of nature with a reliable income source for up to 30 years.

Farmers and landowners can diversify their land and income streams by leasing their land, or parts of it, for the creation of habitat banks to be sold as biodiversity (BNG) units.

Ground Control offers an all-in-one service that establishes if leasing the proposed land for Biodiversity (BNG) is profitable, brokers the 'units' to credible clients, and delivers and maintains the habitats in line with legal allocations and reporting.

Biodiversity (BNG) Units at Wildfell

Units are currently available at Wildfell, Essex, offering 307 biodiversity units in the form of species-rich grassland, mixed scrub, lakes/ponds, traditional orchards, and woodland enhancement.

The scheme is part of Essex County Council’s Natural Environment Investment Readiness Fund project and one of Ground Control's two centre's for Environmental Recovery.

The slider demonstrates how this scheme and habitat bank will develop the ex-arable farmland by 'Year 30'.
